Recap of Without Walls International Church's 21st Anniversary Homecoming Celebration

Recap of Without Walls International Church's 21st Anniversary Homecoming Celebration

This past Sunday, July 15th, Bishop Randy White and the staff of Without Walls International Church celebrated the church's 21st year here in Tampa, Florida.  Originally under the name South Tampa Christian Center, in 1991. It began with a sidewalk Sunday school and a desire to feed the poor. What began in a 1100 square foot storefront, eventually grew to a tent, then a dome, then to what is now today a 4,000 seat auditorium.

Thousands came out to the 21 Year Anniversary Homecoming service, the Without Walls Sanctuary was at ninety percent capacity.  They bused in over 50 homeless people for service, as well as all were given a hot meal.  The kids church had over 100 children in attendance.  Without Walls launched its new and improved website www.withoutwalls.org.   The church had hoped to raise $300,000 to pay off all accounts payable debt, at the end of the service they had raised 1/3 of their goal.  Bishop Randy White announced that he would personally be giving $10,000 to the church.  In response to the media on why the church asks for offerings so frequently, he said simply, "We need it." just as an newspaper or magazine needs advertisers.   Bishop Randy White revealed on Sunday the "hell" that he's been through over the last five years, including a battle with depression, an addiction to prescription drugs and being the subject of an IRS investigation.  To view the entire service and his personal testimony, please visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XIKhDeomGs

Bishop Randy White and Without Walls invite you, your family and friends to join them every Sunday at 9AM and 11AM and Wednesday's at 7PM for weekly service.  Without Walls Spanish service starts at 7PM on Saturdays with an English translation.  Parking, Kids Church and nursery are available onsite at the church.  If you would like more information about services, events coming up or how to get involved at Without Walls International Church please call 813-879-HOPE (4673) or visit the website www.withoutwalls.org or follow on facebook at facebook.com/withoutwallstampa Without Walls International Church is located at 3860 West Columbus Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607.  Follow Bishop Randy White on Twitter: twitter.com/RandyAWhite.

Local resident, Rev. Randy White, to give $5,000 reward for the arrest of four men who teamed up and beat a young U.S. Army soldier in South Tampa

Reported by Channel 10’s Tampa Bay News May 14, 2012: “Police say the victim of a violent beating caught on camera is a 24 year old and has lived in Tampa for less than a month. He's a United States Army soldier assigned to MacDill Air Force Base and lives not far from the base at Dale Mabry Hwy. and Interbay Blvd.

According to police reports on Sunday morning, at around 3 a.m., the soldier's car broke down a few miles from home along Westshore Blvd. The attack came when he was walking home and using Iowa St. to get from Westshore to Dale Mabry. At the intersection of Iowa and Renellie Dr., the man came into the view of a neighbor's motion-activated security camera. A group of three young men are seen walking ahead of the soldier. Police say one of the men in the group doubled back and asked the soldier to borrow a dollar. When the soldier reached for his wallet, the first punch flew. The first, tremendous sucker punch laid the victim onto the ground. The other two men joined in, punching and kicking the soldier. A fourth man comes sprinting into view from the left edge of the video. The new attacker -- a man the soldier said he had walked past earlier -- joined in the beating. Tampa Police officers say the men stole the soldier's wallet and cell phone, then took off south on Renellie Dr. When he eventually got to his feet, the victim had to knock on doors to find someone to help him call 911. The soldier was taken to Tampa General Hospital with cuts and bruises on his face and head. Police say he is expected to make a full recovery.”

Police are hoping someone will come forward with information regarding this brutal beating and call Tampa Police to help them find the attackers. Reverend Randy White will provide a reward of $5,000 to the person who leads to arrest of these four men. Please call Tampa Police at 813-354-6600 if you have information.

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce forms to fill a void in LGBT and LGBT Friendly business needs in Fort Lauderdale

Fifteen years after the Rainbow Alliance was created to promote LGBT and LGBT friendly tourism in the Fort Lauderdale area, the Board members realized they needed to do more for the community. The Rainbow Alliance was bound by existing Bylaws and was unable to expand to include all LGBT and LGBT-friendly businesses in Greater Fort Lauderdale.

On April 26, 2011, the Rainbow Alliance membership unanimously voted to establish the Greater Fort Lauderdale Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GFLGLCC) as a 501 c (6) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting business and economic opportunities for the LGBT and LGBT friendly community in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.

The new Chamber was soon formed as an affiliate of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). This important affiliation will extend our reach beyond Greater Fort Lauderdale. As a result, members will have access to many more benefits, compared to the Rainbow Alliance. In addition to the NGLCC affiliation and benefits, the GFLGLCC intends to work with other affiliate chambers like the Miami-Dade Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) and MBA Orlando - Central Florida's LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Membership fees are also much lower. The Rainbow Alliance dues started at $330, where a standard Business Membership with the GFLGLCC is only $250. We are also waiving new member processing fees, said Keith Blackburn, President of the newly formed GFLGLCC.

The GFLGLCC’s affiliation with the NGLCC will allow the Chamber and its members more opportunities. As a national umbrella organization, the NGLCC is a clearinghouse of ideas and information for and between businesses and organizations. The NGLCC works with Federal, State and Affiliate Chambers and business groups on various issues. Most importantly, the NGLCC is the premier advocate on behalf of LGBT owned businesses, professionals, students of business, and corporations that share in our desire to expand the community's financial opportunities, economic growth, continued innovation, and equality.

The NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative (SDI) offers businesses a tool to make connections and open doors with America's top corporations and each other. The SDI certifies Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and/or Transgender owned Business Enterprises (LGBTBEs) and works to provide opportunities for LGBTBEs to gain exposure within corporate procurement processes. The NGLCC SDI offers certification to LGBTBEs, as well as a host of opportunities to enhance your business' visibility to corporations seeking to do business with LGBT suppliers. Each member of the GFLGLCC will have a membership to the NGLCC and if qualified, is eligible to apply for the SDI at no additional cost.

The GFLGLCC will begin to host and promote a variety of services and events to the community and its member,, including Networkers, Workshops, Breakfasts, Luncheons, Dinners, Evening Mixers, member to member discounts, business seminars, business tables and introductions, to name a few. For a full list of events and services available through the GFLGLCC please visit www.gogayfortlauderdale.com.

For more information about the GFLGLCC, or to become a member please visit www.gogayfortlauderdale.com or contact ARL Marketing & Public Relations at 954-600-3154 or via email at: andrew@arlmarketing.com for media coverage, press kits, membership kits and live interview requests.
